about me

first day of work today. not exciting at all :(

1) i feel cheated actually. coz they made us sign this contract.. say what first 20 hrs will be the training period so we'll only be paid $4/hr O_O only if we meet a certain quota then we'll be paid $7/hr. like HUH?? i can't imagine i only earned $32 today. barely enough for a buffet with +++ and 7% GST 10% service charge.

2) i had to call companies from all over the world. language barrier SUCKS. i don't understand indian nor do i understand japanese. some of the receptionists sounded so fierce like i owe them money! some didn't even give me a chance to explain myself. they just cup my call.

3) low productivity. i have a stack of companies to call and i have to search them on the net one by one to find out the telephone number and call. sigh.. many are irrelevant companies and some do not even have a valid number to call.. sian diao.

so in the end i won't be earning as much as i thought i will and end up sacrificing half of my holidays T_T i should have just slacked off my holiday with ang bibi :( although i do get to see him everyday now, which is like the only good thing that comes out of this job?

i never really believed hsbc was a paradise until today :( i'm serious! life was hard when i first started work in hsbc too.. but at least the people there were <3! (okay not all but some!) it has become like a dream.. all my friends working with me and all sitting around me.. sharing titbits and silly jokes. if only.. if only..

and then the idea of going for dance after work turns me off so badly :( but what can i do? ='( being an ultra responsible person again i won't quit my job any-o-how unless i have strong reasons like better job offer and stuffs. otherwise my job will always be my responsibility all the way till the day my job assignment ends. thankfully it's just a short short assignment. 1 day down, 8.5 more days to go! :D

ang bibi and i shall look for FUN jobs next time! like working in 7-11 night shifts.. or in minimart~ :D ang bibi says minimart pay is like $4.5/hr (better than getting paid $4/hr slogging my guts out like now). or maybe we can go sell ice cream! hahaha :D

i'm trying to convince myself that life is EXCITING, my job is FANTASTIC (oh by the way the scenery from the office is AWESOME :D), dance is going to turn out PERFECT, my complexion is going to be RADIANT (i'm going for free studio photoshoot sometime soon.. Ms Photogenic's prize :D), my results are going to be GREAT, outings with family and friends are going to be WONDERFUL and last but not least,

I AM GOING TO PASS MY DRIVING TEST! rahhhsss. driving lessons are sickening.

time seems to pass so quickly with work. i feel i just got home, and now i'm going to bed. when i wake up, it'll be work again. SIGH.
